Dear Customer

Whilst we strive to continue to improve our service to you, sometimes, we need your help in helping us to serve you better.

We are changing the way in which you return faulty products or non - technical returns to us - RMA - Returns Material Authorisation. The aim is to have a trackable system from start to finish and speed the process to a completion that is beneficial to us all.

Starting on Monday 21 April 2008 you can follow a few simple steps before sending your sensors back to City Technology Ltd, Portsmouth.

  1. Download RMA form LSD/CH-2008:0029 from our web site - www.citytech.com
  2. Complete the form and contact LSD for registering the returns request, either by telephone or email at claims@citytech.com , LSD will issue an RMA form.
  3. Return the sensors plus a copy of the RMA form supplied by LSD to Portsmouth.

Alternatively you can ...

  1. Contact LSD for assistance for completing the RMA form directly.
  2. Return the sensors plus a copy of the RMA form supplied by LSD to Portsmouth

For an out of hours (CET) service once LSD has closed for the day, if you are in Asia Pacific or United States, you can also contact our local sales offices for assistance.

Our aim is to complete all investigations at City Technology Ltd and process the credit note if applicable within one calendar month of receipt of a complete RMA form and sensors.

 We shall be able to track your claim through the RMA number at anytime.

Please remember a few useful tips -

  • We can only process sensors received back with a completed RMA and RMA number that is provided only by LSD
  • Sensors that are received with no RMA or quantities/product does not match what was reported, will be quarantined and the process stops.
  • LSD will contact the customer to discuss the discrepancy and re issue an amended RMA
  • If we receive sensors with no paperwork and can obtain no communication from the sender, we will return the goods after 30 days of receipt
  • Please continue to pay all your outstanding invoices and do not take debit notes without authorization - this can lead to account issues and credit block - which we all want to avoid!
